By accessing and using MyRoster, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

MyRoster is a web application that allows agencies to create public roster pages featuring artists. The service includes:

• Custom URL for your agency roster
• Artist search and selection
• Public roster page display
• Email-based authentication

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use MyRoster, you must:

• Provide a valid email address
• Accept our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
• Be at least 16 years old
• Not use the service for illegal purposes

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account used with MyRoster.

4. Content Guidelines

4.1 Your Content

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of agency information you provide
• The legality of content you publish
• Respecting artist rights and permissions
• Not using misleading or fraudulent information

4.2 Prohibited Content

You may not use MyRoster to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe intellectual property rights
• Publish defamatory, abusive, or harmful content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations
• Distribute spam or malicious content

5. Artist Data

Artist information is sourced from external databases. We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of artist data
• Availability of specific artists
• Continuity of external data services

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted access
• Error-free operation
• Specific uptime guarantees (this is a V1 prototype)

We may suspend or terminate the service for maintenance, updates, or at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

MyRoster's code, design, and branding are our intellectual property.

7.2 Your Rights

You retain ownership of your agency information and content. By using MyRoster, you grant us a license to display and store your content as necessary to provide the service.

8. Termination

8.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard.

8.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in abusive behavior
• Pose security risks
• Remain inactive for extended periods

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• MyRoster is provided "AS IS" without warranties
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our liability is limited to the fees paid (currently: €0, as this is a free service)

10. Rate Limiting and API Use

We implement rate limiting to protect our service:

• Artist search: 30 requests per minute per IP
• Slug checking: 20 requests per minute per IP
• General API: 60 requests per minute per IP

Excessive use may result in temporary or permanent restrictions.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features
• Update pricing (if implemented in future versions)
• Change these Terms of Service

Significant changes will be communicated via email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and applicable member state law. Disputes will be resolved in accordance with EU jurisdiction.
